Edit Device Type

You can edit a device type from the Device Types pane of the Device Configuration Tool.

To edit a device type, complete the following steps:

  1. Locate the type that you want to Edit
  2. Select the ... icon in the Actions column for the device type
  3. Select the Edit option, as illustrated below:

  4. Update the fields, as required. For further information on the fields, see Add Device Type
  5. Select the SAVE button to update the device type. Selecting the CANCEL button returns you to the Device Types pane without updating the device type
