Edge Xrt V2.0 to V2.1 Migration Guide
This guide describes the changes that are required to migrate from Edge Xrt v2.0 to v2.1. Please note that these changes only affect the OPC-UA Device Service.

Device Resources
The update to allow the device service to read or write all node attributes has changed how device resources are defined. Please look at the OPC-UA device profile documentation for a description of how to define a resource in v2.1.
Note
Previous version's profiles will no longer work. It is recommened that the profile generation feature is used to generate a new profile for your devices.

- Component configuration updates are now persisted
- Component configuration discovery is now supported via a new
component:updatecommand

Devices
- When adding a device the profile name is now optional. If set the profile must exist.
- Support added for device operational and administrative state

- Schedules can now be created with tags, these are added to the generated telemetry
